Not only will the young winger be seeking the win that Serbia need to stay in the UEFA Under-21 Championships, he'll also be aiming to further impress United staff and supporters alike on the eve of an important season.
The January signing from Partizan Belgrade has made just three substitute appearances so far for the Reds but with two senior attacking players set to leave Old Trafford, the 22 year-old Serbian can be forgiven for spying an opportunity in the coming campaign.
"I want to try to have a breakthrough," said Tosic, "so these few games (with Serbia Under-21s) are very important for me.
"Then, when we (United) go on tour, I hope I'm going to get a chance and I'm ready for it."
Tosic has played in both of Serbia's matches so far at the Under-21 tournament in Sweden but unlike fellow United player, England's Fraizer Campbell, he's yet to book a place in the semi-finals following two 0-0 draws.
Zoran came very close to snatching a late winner against Belarus at the weekend but his direct free-kick just missed the target. Now he must set his sights on doing better against the host nation if Serbia are to progress and he's to keep his summer on schedule.
