United will kick off the 2009/10 Barclays Premier League season by facing newly-promoted teams in the first two games.
Birmingham City come to Old Trafford on the campaign's opening weekend, before the champions visit fellow North West side Burnley in midweek.
The Reds then travel to Wigan, before a potentially tougher run brings home matches against Arsenal and Manchester City either side of a visit to Harry Redknapp's Tottenham.
ManUtd.com readers said games against Liverpool are the ones to scan for first when the fixtures are announced - United travel to Anfield on 24 October, before entertaining Rafael Benitez's men at Old Trafford on 20 March.
